About Lexikit

A nursery and primary school teacher for 10 years, working with pupils of very different profiles (mainstream classes, newcomers learning the language), I created Lexikit to solve a daily problem: the considerable time spent looking for the right pictures and designing suitable vocabulary resources. Developed independently and shaped by your feedback from the classroom, this project aims to make life in class easier for all of us. I hope it will be as useful to you as it is to me!

What Lexikit does

Lexikit prepares vocabulary learning resources from a word list: games (bingo, memory game, dominoes…), cards to cut out, worksheets and activities to play on screen.

The pictures come from the ARASAAC pictogram library, from Wikimedia Commons or from your own photos. The app exists in French, English, German and Spanish, and is used in class as well as at home, in speech and language therapy or to learn a language.

Pictograms: the pictographic symbols used are the property of the Government of Aragon and were created by Sergio Palao for ARASAAC, which distributes them under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA licence.
