A Lynx-style game with your words
Every word of your list on one board, scattered and turned. Draw a label: the first child to touch its picture on the board covers it. Board covered, everything found.
Free, no account needed. Opens in your browser.

In 3 steps
- Add your words: a dozen is enough, the board holds up to about forty.
- Choose what the board shows, pictures or written words, and what the labels show: pictures, words or translation.
- Print the board and the labels to cut out, or play on screen.
What you can set
- The board shows pictures or written words, in capitals, print or cursive
- The labels show pictures, words or the translation in the support's second language
- Difficulty: straight cells, slightly turned, or turned every way like the real game. “Shuffle” places everything again
- Labels exactly the size of the board's cells: laid on the picture found, a label covers it. With a decorated back
- A box to cut and fold for the labels, in the “Support” section, and a printed title
Ways to use it
- Naming the words of a topic fast, four children around a table
- Reading a word on the label, then finding its picture: reading with a purpose
- Recognising a written word among all the others, when the board shows words
- On screen: the same board, large, a label is drawn, a child comes to touch the word, the board fills up
Frequently asked questions
How many words are needed?
Two at least, but the game makes sense from about ten. Below that the board stays rather empty and a bingo does better. Above thirty, the cells get small, under 3 cm. Lexikit says so under the settings, without blocking anything.
Is this the Lynx game?
No. Lynx is a registered trademark, unrelated to Lexikit. Lexikit makes a game on the same principle, with your words, and never fills the board with pictures of other topics: only yours.

The lynx game
The lynx is an observation game. An A4 board gathers all the pictures scattered, each player draws a label, and the first to find the picture covers it.
