From the weakest to the strongest: tiède, chaud, brûlant

Each line holds words of the same sense, mixed up: chaud, brûlant, tiède. The child writes 1, 2, 3 in the circles, from the weakest to the strongest. It is the gradation the French programme asks for in year 4, with its own example: crainte, peur, épouvante. The scales come from a Lexikit list reviewed one by one, in French for now.

Frequently asked questions

Is one word of my list enough?

Yes. “Chaud” brings tiède, chaud, brûlant. The other words of the scale do not need to be in the support.
