In 3 steps

  1. Add your words: one puzzle per word.
  2. Choose how to cut: number of pieces, strips or grid, or one piece per syllable.
  3. Print, cut out the pieces and hand out the board to put the picture back together.

What you can set

  • 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12 or 16 pieces, in strips or a grid
  • Cut between the syllables: one piece per syllable, coloured syllables
  • Word in the puzzle in capitals, print or cursive, or no word
  • 1, 2 or 6 puzzles per page, blank board or with a faint model

Frequently asked questions

Can the word be cut into syllables?

Yes: with “Cut between the syllables”, each piece shows one syllable of the word, in colour, under the picture. One-syllable words are left out.
