Feature

The themes most chosen this week

The home screen and the themes window show the themes teachers chose most over the last seven days.

The themes of the moment follow the calendar: autumn and Halloween in October, Christmas in December. A class also works on the body, the farm or fruit, in any season. The “Most chosen this week” row now shows the themes picked most over the last seven days. It appears on the empty home screen and in the themes window, after “Right now”.

Only the order is public

These themes come from the daily totals Lexikit already keeps: a theme added to a resource counts one more for that theme. The server adds up the last seven days and sends back only the order of the themes, never a number. A theme chosen too few times does not appear, to keep a few devices from making a trend on their own. No new data is collected.

The themes of the moment on a full home screen

The themes of the moment no longer disappear after the first resource. They appear at the top of the home screen, on a single line, above your resources. A cross hides them until the next month, when the themes change.
