Sentences to put back in order
A sentence resource to cut out and put back in order, with a colour for each part of speech.
In this resource, each word of a sentence becomes a card with its picture, to cut out and then put back in order.
Colours for the parts of speech
A palette of five colours marks the part of speech of the words, such as the noun, the verb or the determiner. A sentence can then also be read by its shape: the determiner goes before the noun, the verb follows the subject. The colours guide the child at first, then they can be removed.
Pictures from elsewhere
A sentence contains words that no pictogram shows well. Lexikit also searches Wikimedia Commons, the free media library of Wikipedia, in French and in English. Photo credits are printed at the bottom of the page, as their licences require.
