The first version of Lexikit
The first version of Lexikit turns a list of words into a bingo to print as a PDF, with the pictures of the words.
Lexikit starts from a need: to stop spending hours looking for pictures and laying out a bingo game.
What this first version does
This version does one thing. You write your words, line by line, separated by commas or taken from a text. Lexikit finds their pictures, you crop them if needed, and a bingo ready to print comes out as a PDF.
No account, no server
From the start, I made a technical choice that shapes everything else: Lexikit runs entirely in the browser. Your words stay on your device, the PDF is made on the spot, and no account is needed. This choice makes some things harder, like finding your work on another computer. In return, class data does not leave the device.
